COMPENSATION
Salary Range: Min. $128,334 – Max. $182,152, Hay Points; 1074
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The position is accountable for providing executive direction and oversight to managerial and supervisory staff engaged in the implementation of strategies for special projects, predictive maintenance, and maintenance planning for MOW.
Responsible for ensuring projects are coordinated with DOS and Operations Planning to minimize service disruptions. Work with MOWs Chief Officers to formulate capital and operating projects, material forecasting/purchasing, and budgets by supporting all MOW special projects, including consultants.
Tasked with improving communications among stakeholders by facilitating procedures/policies and fostering a cooperative labor/management environment. Accountable for responding to emergencies 24/7/365 and overseeing the response to major service disruptions; make decisions that will restore normal service as required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in Industrial Management, Economics, or a related field and eleven (11) years of related experience, and eight (8) years of experience in a managerial/supervisory capacity; OR
A satisfactory equivalent combination of education and experience.
DESIRED SKILLS:
  • Knowledge of MOW and NYCT operations, as well as, inspection, maintenance and predictive maintenance, repair, reconstruction and rehabilitation knowledge.
  • Familiarity with budgets, material and personnel forecasting, and project management.
  • Exhibits excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of NYCT rules and regulations
