Position: CT Placement Coach: 

The CT Placement Coach is responsible for facilitating referrals to Work One and assisting in the facilitation of job shadowing, clinical experiences and externship placement for CT students. This position is budgeted for 20 hours/week and reports directly to the CT Supervisor. 

Qualifications: This position requires a High School diploma and also either a teacher license or an industry certification and/or six years in the field. Basic computer skills are required. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Outreach

• Send out “Secondary Welcome” emails to employment partners to prepare for the new semester placements.
• Arrange placement opportunities with employment partners via the Career Training Supervisor to schedule job shadowing, clinical rotations and externships each semester. 
• Create placement schedules for students and placement sites. 
• Provide placement information to the CT Supervisor for placement in the Weekly Update. 
• Submit 5 referrals per month to Work One using correct formwork. 

1. Orientation 

• Schedule and conduct pre-placement orientation with all classes. Hand out placement schedules and documentation. 

III. Placement 

• Oversee the collection of all pre-placement documentation w/ CT Career Coaches and ensure they are uploaded to the CTES Drive 
• Verify that all placement requirements are met (Castle Branch/Vault) 
• Provide placement schedules to all students prior to placement
• Oversee the collection of all post-placement documentation and ensure they are uploaded to the CTES Drive 
• Monitor student hours in Homebase. Print hours, turn into data and upload to drive.
• Coordinate with the CT Supervisor and Employment Coach to create/staff Career Connections Workshops after the completion of programming to help facilitate employment opportunities. 

1. Reporting

• Document via the form a lack of response from students - 4 attempts & closed.
• Update placement data on the 4-4B within 15 days of placement completion. 
• Assist the Employment Services Coach and CT Data Secretary with gathering employment data and entering it into Inters.

Mondays - Evenings 4:30 - 9:30 PM

Tuesdays - 5 hours

Wednesday - 5 hours

Thursday - 5 hours

Friday - 5 hours
