Metropolitan School District of Wayne Township is Hiring an Adult Education BDU Registration Teacher (PT PM) Near Indianapolis, IN

Reporting Structure:

The Registration Staff reports to the Registration Lead of the Wayne Township Adult Education (WTAE) Program. 

Performance Agreement:

The Wayne Township Adult Education HSE Intake and Testing staff person will perform all aspects of the communicated job description. This employee will effectively meet the performance expectations of the MSD of Wayne Township. Formal performance evaluation will be conducted annually. 

Job Description:

DOMAIN I: REGISTRATION PREPARATIONS

  • Use the Lead Registration’s google sheet to prepare materials testing tickets
  • The registration staff member is responsible for coordinating room space and communicating assignments with the WTAE Secretary, WTAE Receptionist, and other impacted staff members
  • Notified WTAE Secretary of directional signage needs for effective flow to and from testing
  • Ensure receptionist, secretary, supervisor, and coordinator have access to registration details
  • Conduct and confirm all HSE appointment via text message and email 24 hours in advance 
  • Monitor Connectable for DWD compliance to ensure registration has been completed including initial ALP and INCE with the coaches;
  • Navigate Inters, Connectable, and DRC to monitor the previous test and last date of attendance 
  • Prepare and print TABE 11/12 and Clas-E testing tickets based on past INters testing history 
  • Ensure all needed accommodates for students with special needs have been arranged
  • Schedule teen students for a conference with parent and guardian with proper formwork

DOMAIN II: ORIENTATION PREPARATIONS

  • Prepares all computers for testers
  • Ensures sanitizer, tissues, disinfectant wipes, and first aid kits are available
  • Registration attendance form is prepared, ID are collected, and staff monitors for accurate names, time in and time out, witnesses, and files
  • Distribute earbuds, headsets, and other accommodations supports
  • Administer Tabe 11/12 testing
  • If a public health crisis is active, documents student seating charts

DOMAIN III: TEST ADMINISTRATION

  • Proctors for test integrity by monitoring the room during the pre and post testing sessions 
  • Progressing students though the TABE testing to completion
  • Monitoring the e-filing and communication for student/staff pre and post test scores for data
  • Ensures students receive test scores; shows DRC reports, student schedule, mini score report
  • Facilitation of student post testing; 
    • 1-1 DRC Extract, 
    • Determine gain per class
      • Determine HSE Bootcamp Eligibility per guidelines
      • Sign Up for HSE Bootcamp (Adulted.info/bootcamp)
      • Partner with HSE Secretary to create Student GED or HiSET Account
      • Email teachers with Score Report
      • E-file Score Report for Data
      • Determine Post-Test Series, Level, Subject
      • Identify Class and Life Coach Course Number in Connectable
      • Create New Essential Education and USA Learns Accounts
      • Determine and Create Post-Test Ticket

DOMAIN IV: STUDENT SCHEDULING

  • Schedule students into appropriate class considering needs, ability to achieve success, and size
  • Reviews NRS E-M3 or M3 , HSE Bootcamp, ELL to HSE, and Career Training Placement
