No matter if you are new to the career of teaching, currently in the process of a teaching education, or perhaps your work life balance demands a part-time schedule. We’ve got your career and your work life balance covered! We currently have openings for part-time position as a Program Aide floater. This position is an hourly position with maximum of 32 hours per week. The hours for this position are around 8:00am-2:30pm with different locations in Wheaton, Carol Stream, and Addison. As well as openings for fulltime Program Aides.

We are currently offering a SIGN ON BONUS of $3,000 for full-time and $1,500 for part-time Teacher positions.

Individuals working at least 20.75 hours a week, are benefit eligible on a prorated basis! In addition to continuous career development and support, other benefits offered include:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Participates in a team approach to planning and implementing program activities. Collaborates with Family Support Workers, Teacher, Teacher, site partners, and site supervisor for the betterment of the classroom and families.
  • Responsible for the implementation of the program’s Planned Language Approach, which is specifically designed to support dual language learners.
  • Helps Lead Teacher and Teacher guide children in achieving individual goals and assess children’s individual strengths and needs.
  • Assists in activities of the children and ensures appropriate child guidance and discipline and proper ratios are maintained at all times.
  • Provides active supervision to ensure the safety of children while in the classroom, during transitions, at time of transportation, and while on the playground. Ensures that no child shall be left alone or unsupervised.
  • Ensures compliance with the agency’s code of conduct.
  • other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

MFS staff are required to provide proof of vaccination or have an approved Medical exemption prior to starting employment

Must be able to lift a child up to 50lbs

SALARY:

  • Compensation is commensurate with years of related experience, position requirements, and candidate qualifications. The average salary for the position is $16.75 per hour.
