Metropolitan Family Services is Hiring a Data Integrity Specialist - RRH Near Chicago, IL

We are now hiring for a full-time Data Integrity Specialist with the Rapid Rehousing Program to join our Calumet Team!

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Review all general information, goals, goal descriptions, signatures and goal completion (as appropriate) are completed appropriately and legibly on program forms; ensure intake and case notes are completed and entered into Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the provision of quality services.
  • Enter goals and contact notes into HMIS.
  • Compile a spreadsheet to document all data entered into HMIS.
  • Participate in monthly rent approval meetings, ensuring appropriate documentations are attached to rent request.
  • Responds to emergency and crisis situations with residents and/or staff.
  • Act as a liaison between the Family Coach and Landlord for any apartment concerns and lease renewals.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Filing of documentation.
  • Works within contract, grant, and program requirements including meeting timelines and reporting requirements.
  • Takes increasing responsibility for own professional development, utilizing supervision and other developmental opportunities within and outside the agency to enhance skills and understanding.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Works effectively with diverse staff and service populations

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Some experience in related field.
  • Some computer experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide customer service, administrative, and data entry.
  • Ability to work well with clients and staff.
  • Transportation required to visit and transport clients to facilitate housing transition..
  • Organized and able to multi-task.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and groups.

 ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • MFS staff are required to provide proof of vaccination or have an approved Medical exemption prior to starting employment. If an approved Medical is obtained, weekly testing may be required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is required to sit and stand for sustained periods of time, frequently talk, hear, use hands and fingers to feel, handle and operate objects or controls, and occasionally stand, bend, stretch, stoop, kneel and crouch.
  • The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing and viewing a computer terminal.
  • The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
