Position Summary: This position is responsible for consistent completion of all checklists, optimum utilization of resources, assurance of quality service and a superior patient experience for the practice location. This role is in addition to current medical assistant responsibilities. Must be available to work 5 days a week.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The following duties and responsibilities reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive. Other duties may be assigned.

• Ensures daily assigned tasks are completed as instructed or assigned.
• Assists with clinic scheduling; including identifying scheduling issues and shortages and work with your Clinical Manager to find resolution
• Monitors patient wait times, clinical flow, and other areas of concern to increase efficiency in the delivery of quality patient care in collaboration with clinical staff and PSR.
• Works collaboratively with Clinic Manager to evaluate workflows and processes to improve patient outcomes and efficiency.
• Oversees EMA tasks, path/lab logs, and EOD logs for compliance and reports issues or any areas of improvement to Clinical Manager to facilitate training or corrective action.
• Oversees patient flow providing direction or feedback to clinical staff as needed.
• Provides back up support as a medical assistant when scheduling conflicts/issues occur.
• Assists with other administrative projects and tasks as needed.
• Identifies employee or patient concerns needing follow up from Clinical Manager for resolution
• Participates in training of new and existing staff and assist new hires in onboarding process.
• Assists in providing input for performance reviews and provides support while assisting in remedial training recommended in Performance Improvement Plans. Discretion and confidentiality are mandatory.
• Ensures all safety and infection control protocols are being followed and trained as needed.
• Ensures compliance with all requirements applicable for assigned location practice audit.
• Responsible for the maintenance of a clean and organized work environment
• Checks work e-mail daily and informs team members of company-wide initiatives, new policies and/or procedures and returns any feedback from team members.
• Responsible for inventory of medical supplies and submitting to Clinic Manager for order entry.

Education and/or Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one-year experience in a dermatology clinical setting
