MetroCare is Hiring an Administrative Coordinator Near Newton, MA

Metrocare, LLC is an established elderly care organization which provides care for elderly and disabled clients throughout eastern Massachusetts. We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic Administrative Coordinator to join our team in our Newton office. This is a administrative position in the office.

Responsibilities to include and are not limited to:

Serves as a resource for patients and staff and new hires:

  • Perform Data Entry and Reconciliation
  • Accurate Filing of documentation
  • Analyze performance data, creating reports, and reporting findings to high level stakeholders
  • Triage phone calls and handle all situations accordingly. Position requires sensitive handling of patient and clinician calls and other communication from senior administrators in the Department of Psychiatry
  • Provide timely information/instructions to patients and/or staff regarding company policies, procedures, or systems
  • coordinating various aspects of care delivery
  • Completes general office and clerical work, including filing, mailing, correspondence, copying, ordering supplies
  • taking ownership of core operational processes gathering and processing staff documentation
  • service record preparation and reconciliation for payroll
  • preparing and reconciling clients records
  • participation in satisfaction surveys
  • communication with various high-level stakeholders and prioritizing requests and assignments
  • Assists in various special projects and program development initiatives
  • Manage process for onboarding staff and contractors
  • Monitor and maintain staff credentialing files for compliance

Experience and educational requirements:

  • Ability to closely follow directions, skim and analyze data while processing a document, multi task, and propose suggestions for improvement
  • Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous tasks and prioritize
  • working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, Windows, Medical or Scheduling Software
  • Bachelor degree preferred
  • basic understanding of medical terminology,
  • Excellent communications skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidential medical information.
  • Two or more previous years of administrative, healthcare, HR, or program development experience preferred.
  • knowledge of other languages a plus!
  • advanced computer skills a plus!
  • healthcare experience a plus!

Job Types: Temp-to-hire, Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
