DESCRIPTION: Metro Schools College Prep is a public charter school located in North Minneapolis. We are looking for a passionate and innovative teacher to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have the following proficiencies:
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota teaching license in teaching area or the ability to obtain by start date
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry or Physics (or a related field)
Desired Qualifications:
- 3 years teaching experience
- Capability to individualize and differentiate education
- Strong commitment to ensure the academic performance of each student
- Experience with EL learners
- Skills for setting, monitoring and meeting individual and school-wide goals
- Strong classroom management skills
- Application of successful strategies for parent engagement
- Excellent team and individual communication skills
- Proven experience with a diverse student body
