Science Teacher – Metro Schools College Prep

DESCRIPTION: Metro Schools College Prep is a public charter school located in North Minneapolis. We are looking for a passionate and innovative teacher to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have the following proficiencies:

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Minnesota teaching license in teaching area or the ability to obtain by start date
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry or Physics (or a related field)

  • 3 years teaching experience
  • Capability to individualize and differentiate education
  • Strong commitment to ensure the academic performance of each student
  • Experience with EL learners
  • Skills for setting, monitoring and meeting individual and school-wide goals
  • Strong classroom management skills
