In-house substitute teacher – Metro Schools College Prep

DESCRIPTION: Metro Schools College Prep is a 6-12 public charter school located in Minneapolis. We are looking for a passionate and innovative teacher to support general education teachers when they are absent. Our ideal candidate will have the following proficiencies:

• MN Short-Call Substitute license or the ability to obtain one upon hiring
• Capability to individualize and differentiate education
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Strong commitment to ensure the academic performance of each student
• Superior technology skills that can be applied to individualized learning
• Skills for supporting students in a wide range of content areas and instructional settings
• Excellent team and individual communication skills
• Proven experience with a diverse student body

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
