Job Description:
Metro Pavers, Inc. a local, family owned and operated paving company that has been in business since 1966. Metro Pavers, Inc. is looking for a summer intern for a Total Station Technician. This position will be heavily involved in our daily Leica paving operations. This includes set up, maintenance, and coordination of Leica Geo Systems, stringless paving. A willingness to learn all technical aspects of this job is a must.

Attention to detail, excellent and problem solving abilities are critical attributes for this position. Essential functions will include maintaining robotic total stations for surveying and machine control operations, ensuring primary and secondary total stations, prism, and slope sensors are properly set up with the paver to ensure quality paving operations.
There could be limited travel for training required as this is a specialty field. Candidates who have a strong interest in technology, including 3D technology, engineering, and geosystems are encouraged to apply.
This position will pay $20-$22/hr. It is hourly/non-exempt, onsite.
