Metro Infectious Disease Consultants L.L.C. is accepting applications for Nurse Practitioners located within the Florence, AL area, to work on a PRN basis. This NP should expect to work 1-2 weekends per month.
The NP will work with the collaborating physician in an active inpatient practice to deliver health care services to our patients. This includes, but is not limited to, the diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic health problems, ordering, interpreting and performing laboratory and radiology tests, prescribing medications, including controlled substances, to the extent delegated, and performing other therapeutic or corrective measures as indicated.
The Nurse Practitioner shall consult with the collaborating physician by telecommunication or in person as needed. In the absence of the designated collaborating physician, another physician shall be available for consultation.
Requests for accommodations/exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis, consistent with applicable laws.
