Essential Responsibilities
Why Popeyes?
- Follow procedures to prepare food products for customers, maintaining the highest level of product quality and cleanliness
- Check food quality and food temperatures throughout the day to ensure the food is fresh and safe to serve
- Be able to stand for long periods of time
- Communicate with packagers and crew regularly throughout the shift to understand production needs
- Season food product according to Popeyes standards
- Carry loads of 50 pounds or more frequently
- Operate fryers with hot oil responsibly and safely
- Cooks are also responsible for the cleaning and sanitizing of food preparation area, storage areas, including interior and exterior of restaurant, equipment, and utensils.
