Energetic Automotive Company in Baltimore looking to hire an Automotive Controller for hi-line luxury dealership. Must have experience with service, fixed ops accoungting, and preferablly have Dealertrack DMS background. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Controller to join our team. As the Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. You will play a critical role in managing the financial health of the organization and providing strategic guidance to senior management.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting

- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP

- Conduct regular financial analysis and provide insights to senior management for decision-making purposes

- Manage the budgeting process and monitor actual performance against forecasts

- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and ensure timely completion of audit requirements

- Provide guidance and support to finance team members, promoting professional development and growth

- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in accounting and finance

Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation preferred

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Automotive role.

- Strong technical accounting skills with knowledge of GAAP principles

- Proficiency in using accounting software such as Dealer Track and Quick Books.

- Excellent understanding of financial concepts and ability to analyze complex financial data

- Experience in forecasting and budgeting processes

- Solid knowledge of accounts payable/receivable processes and ability to manage cash flow effectively

- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors or discrepancies

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders

Pay: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
