Position Title: Physical Therapy Specialist

Job Description:

Full-Time Onsite Role with Paid Relocation

As a Physical Therapy Specialist, you will play a crucial role in patient care and program development. Utilizing your expertise, you will assess patients, develop comprehensive treatment plans, and provide advanced physical therapy treatments. This role requires a strong background in pelvic floor therapy, and the ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university-based program.

Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for patient care, conducting thorough evaluations and accurately interpreting findings.
  • Develop written plans of care, establish goals based on evaluation findings, and create comprehensive programs to achieve those goals.
  • Implement physical therapy treatment programs, demonstrating competence in advanced physical therapy skills.
  • Assess patients regularly to monitor progress towards treatment goals and adjust goals, plans, or programs as necessary.
  • Motivate and instruct patients/caregivers using effective methods.
  • Effectively communicate with patients/caregivers, professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies.
  • Manage time effectively, documenting appropriately in the medical record, and completing other documentation duties accurately and efficiently.
  • Serve as a clinical resource, mentor, and clinical instructor to staff, students, and the community.
  • Actively pursue clinical expertise in specific treatment techniques or the management of a particular patient population.
  • Participate in organized system/facility/departmental committees and task forces.
  • Present relevant special topics in professional literature at various forums.
  • Ensure safe care for patients, staff, and visitors, adhering to all policies, procedures, and standards.
