The Opportunity
We are looking for a Marketing Content Strategist who is a master of their craft — producing clear and strategic plans and compelling marketing assets including messaging and copy for customers at each stage of the marketing funnel. They are enthusiastic problem solvers, delivering executive-grade strategies and content for B2B customers. They collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand customer and business objectives. They have strong conceptual, presentation, storytelling, and digital media skills, coupled with a creative mind and an impeccable attention to detail.
This role requires a strong command of grammar and style, as well as a desire to create processes that steer writers along a strategic directive and help non-writers easily access and implement accurate messaging. The right candidate must be passionate about writing and editing both short- and longer-form copy, proofreading final assets, maintaining style guides and evergreen content—all while upholding a consistent brand voice.
In this role, the Marketing Strategist will work with members of the creative and marketing teams to create marketing and sales collateral that are engaging and refreshingly useful for our customers. They will need to apply market data and insights to tailor messaging to audience needs and pain points.
  • Craft comprehensive content strategies and marketing briefs that align with business objectives and resonate with target audiences for a range of B2B clients.
  • Encompass a strong executive presence when presenting strategy, counsel and feedback to clients and internal teams.
  • Brainstorm and implement innovative ideas for engaging content that aligns with key brand messages and objectives.
  • Conduct content and competitor audits to identify market trends and develop insights to inform strategies.
  • Develop, copywrite, and copyedit content across multiple channels such as websites, blogs, and social media platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including writers, creative, research, marketing, public relations, thought leadership, and subject matter experts to ensure cohesive content execution and storytelling.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging platforms, and SEO guidelines to ensure content is competitive and relevant.
  • Contribute to new business proposals for potential clients by providing strategic insights.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of internal and freelancer work, provide clear and constructive feedback, ensuring excellent quality of final deliverables.
  • Have a strong, positive presence within the agency.
  • Demonstrate and support Method’s J.E.D.I. (Justice, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion) policy and practices, contributing to and building a culture built on respect, dignity, empathy, and inclusivity.
  • Execute and demonstrate excellent customer service to your clients and teams.

What we’re looking for
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related concentration.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience conceiving and applying content strategy across digital channels and platforms in a B2B context (web, mobile, email, social media, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills — able to diagnose why content is or isn’t working and what strategy changes should be made.
  • A deep understanding of how to use content strategy to move prospects into and through the marketing and sales funnel.
  • Proven track record of successfully operating independently — managing multiple priorities, following schedules, and meeting deadlines — all while maintaining impeccable outputs.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, detail orientation and a commitment to excellence.
  • Strong presentation skills and experience sharing strategic rationale with senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Deep knowledge of the B2B content landscape and major trends in the industry.

Salary Ranges
We believe all employees should be rewarded competitively and equitably, using practices that are simple and transparent. We’ve provided the following salary ranges for the locations we operate in below due to their state regulations. If your market is not listed below, your specific salary band will be discussed during the recruitment process. Final compensation for this role will be determined by a number of factors including candidate’s education, relevant work experience and geographic location.
  • State of Colorado: $75,742 - $105,825
  • State of New York: $90,378 - $108,835
  • New York City: $69,842 - $115,814
  • State of California: $80,339 - $114,912
  • State of Washington: $85,810 - $100,751

Work Arrangement
The role can be performed fully remote in the United States or hybrid if near a hub office in San Francisco, Salt Lake City, or New York City. This role is open to candidates in the following states: AL, CA, CO, CT, GA, IL, KS, MA, MD, ME, NJ, NM, NY, OR, SC, TX, UT, VA, and WA.
