Role Summary

MetaPhase is seeking a Technical Writer with five or more (5 ) years of experience to be a part of a federal customer engagement team supporting cybersecurity strategy, business requirements and analysis, and process improvement. This team will work closely with senior federal leadership to distill national cybersecurity mission requirements, identify gaps in current services, and draft strategic documents outlining future activities, ensuring they closely align with national cybersecurity plans. This position requires an ability to work well with senior leaders, produce error-free and grammatically correct deliverables, and work within tight turnaround times. 

What You Will Be Doing

• 3 years government consulting experience with 5 years technical writing experience
• Ability to deliver high-quality documentation paying attention to detail
• Experience generating 508 compliant documents
• Familiarity with both the Government Printing Office (GPO) and Associated Press (AP) Style Guides
• Ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
• Strong ability to quickly collate content from numerous disparate sources
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Experience and knowledge of policy document structure and content within the Federal government (DHS experience preferred)

What We Need From You (Required)

• Minimum of five or more (5 ) years’ experience in communications, business analysis or role that involves writing, speaking, coordination.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Possess strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• U.S. citizenship required (no exceptions); Ability to obtain and hold an active Public Trust.

Bonus Points (Desired)

• Federal consulting experience; Experience at DHS a strong plus
