What does a day in life look like?

Mission: Achieve shipping plan and production service through the proper use of side loaders and crew.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:

· Proactively improve safety in the plant to achieve the plant goal of 0 accidents.

· Facilitate and develop topics for communication at daily safety and area meetings.

· Champion timely resolution of all safety concerns and/or near misses

· Enforce area and plant safety procedures.

· Manage the day-to-day activities of the Logistic Technicians.

· Ensure shipping plan compliance, material, and paperwork.

· Manage the day-to-day lot activities for the side loader operators to ensure zero production disruptions and zero shipping errors.

· Ensure all side loaders have the correct preventive or corrective maintenance.

· Monitor standardized work is being followed.

· Identify training opportunities to develop and maintain a highly motivated and capable team.

· Lead efforts to reduce cost and improve efficiency to meet planned/plant objectives.

· Conduct training for teammates.

· Gather information and audit daily reports.

· Additional responsibilities as required – this position is subject to change as the needs of the department change.

What you will bring:

Education & Experience:

· High School degree/diploma.

· 2 years or more in leadership positions.

· A combination of education and manufacturing-logistic experience.

· PIV management.

Technical Skills:

· Computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

· Communication, analytical, problem-solving.

· Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude.

· Safety and Quality oriented.

· Capacity to manage resources and activities to obtain results.

· Must be willing to work overtime with little or no notice.
