At Meta, Mission Control is the organization responsible for end-to-end workforce planning, management, and headcount allocations for all of Meta. In this role, our team helps the business proactively drive their priorities aligned to the strategies of our human resources, recruiting, and finance departments. Further, they manage the day-to-day operations of headcount management across Meta.This is a people manager opportunity for the Workforce Solutions teams. We are looking for someone who will influence business decisions by furthering a data-driven and analytical culture across operations. This role will involve leading and nurturing a team of operational data analysts to ask the right questions, and translating these questions into impactful analysis involving diverse data sets. This position will work closely with peer managers, as well as cross-functional teams and leaders in Enterprise Engineering, Analytics, Finance, Recruiting, and HR. This manager will be accountable to strategize, plan, and execute initiatives as it aligns with program visions, balancing individual experiences with Meta's company priorities.

Manager, Workforce Solutions Services Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of data analysts that builds analytics and reporting solutions to help scale operations
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and career development and enable deeper, more scalable solutions
• Establish team goals and work with direct reports on strategies for executing, measuring progress, and sharing results
• Improve operational excellence through identification and execution of initiatives that create efficiency, remove obstacles, or create improved processes and approaches to the business
• Empower the team to define and document the end-to-end business processes currently used and identify where and how tooling/analytics solutions will aid with streamlining and scaling the process
• Build scalable data architecture and re-usable analytics assets for broader consumption within the team, seeking opportunities to improve data collection, reporting, and consumption based on business needs
• Build strong cross-functional partnerships with Product, Engineering, Finance, Recruiting, HRBPs, People Operations, and People Analytics to understand data needs and deliver on those needs

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a directly related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5 years of experience in people management
• 5 years experience with SQL, data analysis, visualization tools (e.g. Tableau), or programming languages such as Python
• Experience leading major end-to-end analytic projects (planning, design, hands-on development, stakeholder management, communication and maintenance)
• Experience in operational analytics and quality measurement/improvement
• Experience with data architecture and analysis to scale operations
• Experience delivering business insights and driving change through quantitative approaches
• Experience presenting research data (qualitative and quantitative) to both technical and business partners
• Proven communication and interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration with cross-functional and leadership teams
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and working autonomously in a fast-paced ambiguous environment
• Experience building a high performing team which includes hiring, onboarding, mentoring, developing and coaching data analysts

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a technical discipline with experience in programming and/or statistical analysis
• Experience with Workday, Salesforce, and Workplace by Facebook functionality including tenant configuration, data loads, and maintenance
• Experience with workforce planning and/or management including headcount planning and allocation management
• Experience with finance, organizational effectiveness, and recruiting processes
