Head of Operations, GenAI Responsibilities:

• Develop team strategy and lead team to execute on critical GenAI labeling needs
• Provide leadership, guidance, and career development to a team of people managers and project managers
• Utilize strategic tools, systems, and data to help the team analyze trends and deliver insights to define goals and improve processes
• Influence cross-functional team strategy through use of effective communication
• Craft and lead team to its vision: drive impact towards goals, and work with leaders across the organization on strategies for executing, measuring progress, and sharing results
• Build strategic relationships with global and cross-functional teams to understand and anticipate risks and opportunities for the GenAI Operations organization
• Coordinate with global cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, PR/Communications, Public Policy, Legal, Quality, and others to problem solve and develop solutions
• Attract, build, manage, and develop a talented, diverse, equitable and inclusive team

Minimum Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience influencing across functional boundaries and/or globally
• Experience working with product, engineering or technical teams
• Analytical and problem-solving experience
• Experience influencing senior executives
• Experience prioritizing and ensuring key initiatives move forward, managing multiple cross-functional stakeholders, and working with urgency
• Executive presence and effective communications skills
• Critical thinking/analytical leadership experience
• A proven team player adaptable to a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• 12 years of experience working in operations, ideally with a focus on machine learning
• Experience scaling and leading project management and analytical teams
• Experience managing teams that utilize data analysis & visualization tools (e.g. SQL, Excel, Tableau)
• 3 years of experience in the AI/ML space or working with data labeling
• Experience with predictive or descriptive analytics and working with machine learning teams
