Engineering Manager - Validation FW and Platform Integration Responsibilities:

• Play a role in the technical roadmap development for silicon validation

• Set and communicate team priorities that support the silicon validation goals
• Create the work streams to develop validation FW and tests on software models
• Build collaborations with RL FW/SW teams to enable early development of AR/VR SW
• Build collaborations with FPGA and Emulation teams to bring-up the FW/SW stack and tests on these platforms
• Ensure that FW, tests, tools and scripts are ready for chip bring-up and post-si debug
• Work with silicon validation teams to ensure all functionality, performance and power are tested to specification
• Support FW and SW teams to integrate silicon into device
• Review code developed by your team and XFN teams, and provide feedback to ensure best coding practices

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar Engineering field or BS and 8 years of industry experience

• Solid understanding of SoC architecture and embedded systems development
• Experience in pre- and post- silicon bring-up, HW-SW co-development, and HW-SW co-validation.
• Experience in C/C software development with emphasis on data structures and algorithms
• Experience with device driver development for Real-time Operating Systems, such as Zephyr
• 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role
• 3 years of experience in a people management, supervision or team leadership role

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with embedded FW development for silicon

• 3 years of experience working in a large matrixed organization
