Job Summary :

As a Package / Mail Screener, you will be responsible for examining incoming packages and mail.

Key Responsibilities :

Thoroughly inspect incoming packages and mail using various screening techniques, including visual inspection, X-ray scanning, and potentially other specialized equipment.

Handle packages and mail with care while conducting inspections to avoid damage or disruption to contents.

Adhere strictly to security procedures and protocols outlined by the organization.

Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive materials or information.

Communication :

Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to report findings, escalate concerns, and coordinate responses to security incidents.

Provide clear and concise feedback on inspection results and collaborate with team members to address any security-related issues.

Training and Compliance :

Participate in training sessions to stay updated on security protocols, screening techniques, and relevant technology.

Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, laws, and organizational policies governing mail and package screening.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent required

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels.

Ability to follow instructions and adhere to established procedures with a high degree of accuracy and reliability.

Demonstrated integrity and trustworthiness, with a commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality.

Physical Requirements :

Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Capable of lifting and carrying packages of varying weights. Compensation : $20.75 - $22.75 per hour
