The Order Selector is responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting and preparing orders for shipment according to customer specifications.

This role involves operating various warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, and ensuring that all items are properly picked, packed, and labeled for delivery.

Responsibilities :

Review and comprehend pick tickets to determine the items and quantities needed for each order.

Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, to move and transport materials throughout the facility.

Locate and retrieve products from designated storage areas within the warehouse based on pick tickets.

Inspect items for damage or defects, and report any issues to management.

Accurately count and verify quantities of products picked to ensure order accuracy.

Package items securely and prepare them for shipping, following proper packing and labeling procedures.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse, including keeping aisles clear and work areas tidy.

Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.

Collaborate with other team members to complete tasks efficiently and meet productivity targets.

Requirements :

High school diploma or equivalent.

Prior experience working in a warehouse or distribution center preferred.

Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively, including forklifts and pallet jacks.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy when selecting and packing orders.

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.

Compensation : $21.50 - $23.50 per hour
