Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting procedures and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in budgeting, accrual accounting, and corporate finance. We are looking for someone that is a self-starter and someone looking bring energy and take on an intergral role to continue to grow our company.

Duties:

- Prepare cost estimates for bidding projects
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Conduct financial audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Conduct financial analysis on jobs to ensure projects remain on budget
- Ensure compliance with regulations
- Utilize accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks) to record financial transactions accurately
- Maintain accurate payroll records and process payroll payments
- Perform double entry bookkeeping tasks

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role
- Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks)
- Familiarity with financial auditing procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to analyze financial data and generate meaningful reports
- Knowledge of corporate finance principles
- Strong understanding of balance sheet reconciliation processes
- Familiarity with payroll processing procedures

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
