The Dining Room Server is responsible for serving the residents in the dining room. This position also maintains the Standards of Excellence established by Merrill Gardens for cleanliness, customer service and proper delivery in an organized and timely fashion. Adheres to customer service philosophy by providing excellent customer service to Residents and their Families, and Team Members.
Experience:
-Must have a current Food Handler's Permit, or be able to obtain within 30 days of employment.
-Must be able to communicate both in written and spoken English.
-Must have flexibility with schedule and be available nights, weekends, and holidays.
-Must meet all health requirements (including TB) and pass drug/alcohol and background checks.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
-Clean, sanitize, organize and maintain all customer service areas in your section.
-Assist in seating of residents and guests.
-Present a professional and caring attitude when dealing with residents and guest.
-Report any unusual incidents or concerns to the Dining Room Lead or the Executive Chef.
