Job Overview:
We are seeking veterinary professionals to join family oriented team! Openings are for both receptionist and technician.
As a team member, you will advocate for the highest standards in veterinary medicine and compassionately educate clients. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced veterinary clinic environment.
Duties include but are not limited to
- Greet clients and their pets with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Schedule appointments and maintain the clinic's appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and address client inquiries
- Collect and record client information, including medical history and insurance details
- Assist veterinarians with various procedures as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the veterinary field is preferred
- Knowledge of animal physiology, veterinary terminology, and common veterinary procedures
- Familiarity with vaccines, triage, pet care, laboratory procedures, dog handling, kennel operations is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Proficient in using computer systems and managing client records
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners
