First Coast Veterinary Specialists and Emergency in Jacksonville Beach is seeking experienced full time Veterinary Client Services Representatives (CSR) for our growing emergency department. We are looking for someone who understands the importance of providing superior customer service and possesses excellent communication skills, who is friendly, professional, courteous, and reliable. It is important for this person to be able to multi-task with continuous interruptions. We are seeking individuals with strong emotional competencies; those that are self-aware, have infectious positive attitudes, authenticity and caring empathy toward others.

We strive for excellent patient care, client service, client education, and staff development. The hours for this position will vary between 5pm-8am Monday through Friday and weekend hours.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Greet clients in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner

• Answer multi-line phone system and directing the calls accordingly
• Admit clients, including entering information on new patients
• Page overhead to notify appropriate departments that patients have arrived
• Scan or otherwise record medical records
• Make sure the lobby and reception areas are organized and neat, including stocking and cleaning the beverage areas for clients
• Fax, file, and distribute faxes and other documents
• Obtain deposits and other payments from clients
• Check out Clients
• Check front-desk email and forward as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent

VETERINARY EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED
