Facility Operations Technician General Labor DS Facility

This role will serve as the facility technician that be responsible for customer interactions, facility maintenance, cleaning and grounds maintenance activities. They additionally will assist with mechanical work on facility equipment. This position offers a daily schedule with a variety of tasks and plays a key role on the Disposal Solutions team.

The desire to work in a team-oriented environment with flexibility to handle changing work assignments is important. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. A clean driving record is required and willingness to obtain Commercial Driver License with assistance. A current Class A CDL holder will be strongly considered at higher rate if willing perform full scope of work.

• Customer interaction

  • Greasing, lubricating equipment
  • Skimming water tanks
• Cleaning facility, office and washing down facility equipment
• Maintaining dump area
  • Washing down ramp
  • Clearing rocks and grit
• Monitoring of facility operations
• Grounds maintenance
• Assistance with mechanical work

Requirements

• Critical thinking skills and strong communication
• General labor experience
• High School Diploma/GED equivalent
• Valid Driver License; limited driving violations
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively 
• Willing to work toward obtaining Class A CDL - support provided

SALARY: $18 - $20 per hour
