About the job

The Creative Strategist will integrate their knowledge in brand strategy, customer research and communications with a foundational understanding of marketing channels, analytics and technology. Your experience with people, brands, marketing, content, social and especially digital will help our client goals by delivering creative strategies. In this remote only opportunity, you will develop the strategic briefs and communicate test approaches and partner with creative and channel teams to ensure the accurate and high-quality execution of in-market testing.

Team and Reporting Structure

You will join the Strategy Group which is a team of sixteen strategists led by an SVP of Strategy. You will likely report into a Strategy Director and work along side a Lead Strategist. The strategy team is diverse with a depth of expertise throughout strategy and there will be opportunities to work with different members of the team.

Responsibilities:

Be the integrator between Creative and Analytics, Vertical Strategy, Media, Client Services teams.

  • Champion and support the strategic planning and brainstorming for select clients that position the strategy team as consultants to our client’s business working across both B2C and B2B clients
  • Lead the development of creative test planning and roadmaps, including coordinating with other agency teams to ensure the sound execution and measurement of test plan recommendations
  • Use insight tools to develop meaningful audience insights that inspire relevance into our creative implementation
  • Work with creative teams to translate client challenges and express our POV, and to ensure creative product is on strategy and aligned with expectations
  • Operate as a solutions architect, integrating several services (customer experience strategy, analytics, media, data, research, studio, and technology)

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business related field
  • An understanding of what it takes to develop integrated marketing strategies across all aspects – foundational brand strategy / brand architecture work; communications planning, content, social and digital
  • Well versed marketing research tools and methodologies – from new ways of using technology to conduct primary research, a deep working knowledge of 3rd party research, secondary research and social listening
  • A demonstrated fluency and comfort level working with multiple agency disciplines including media, social, content, UX, analytics and technology

The anticipated salary range for this position is ($59,000-$96,025). Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
