EKG Technician
Performs a variety of duties relating to patient care, office functions, and use of EKG equipment as a diagnostic study. Performs the technical aspects of cardiac stress testing. These duties include the dailly review of testing equipment and emergency response equipment to assure functionality.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education - High School diploma or GED required.
Experience - Experience as an EKG Technician or equivalent preferred.
Licensure/Certification - Current BLS (CPR) in compliance with policy required
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Ability to take direction, learn content, demonstrates competency in skills taught. Adhere to Meritus Code of Conduct and have strong customer service skills.
