East Bay city needs a temporary Recruiter to fill 80 open job requisitions including, but not limited to, development services, building inspectors, public works, finance, and city clerks. This recruiter will recruit, triage resumes, and coordinate interviews with the hiring manager.

The recruiter will work remotely but attend the occasional in-office meeting. This assignment is scheduled to begin ASAP and estimated to last through the end of June 2024. City issued laptops will be provided.

What you will do:

• Assist with filling 80 open requisitions for development services, building inspectors, public works, finance, and city clerk's office
• Work closely with departments to develop exam plans
• Establish eligible lists
• Screen applications, communicate with managers, keep all stakeholders updated, and assist with setting up exams
• Work and collaborate with existing analysts

What we are looking for:

• Experience using NeoGov recruitment software, highly preferred
• Experience with CalOpps, JobAps, Taleo, or other applicant tracking system with an exam component is ideal
• Government recruiting experience would be very helpful
• Discipline, self-direction, and effective prioritizing skills
• Able to attend in-person office meetings occasionally
• Organized, collaborative, and an easy going personality
• Ability to prioritize workload
• Possess exceptional communication skills
