Merit Landscape Solutions is Hiring a Landscape Irrigator Near San Antonio, TX
Merit Landscape Solutions is looking for individuals who possess a thorough understanding of all aspects of irrigation systems including but not limited to selling design, consultation, installation, maintenance, alterations, repairs, or service an irrigation system, including the connection of such system to a private or public, raw or potable water supply (or any water supply). This includes water wells in unincorporated areas of the state.
Our teams average tenure of more than 30 years in the industry. Merit's management team is made up of seasoned professionals who have grown within the industry and with Merit Landscape Solutions.
A great candidate will have:
A great candidate will have:
- 2-3 years prior irrigation experience
- Licensed Irrigator that is certified and licensed through the state of Texas.
- Authorization to work in the US
- Possess a valid driver license, as well as an ability to pass an MVR and pre-employment drug test
- Understands various irrigation controllers & related equipment and how to thoroughly complete and document an irrigation inspection
- Is able to handle the physical demands of our work including adverse weather conditions, heavy lifting (30-80 pounds), and extensive walking
- Is able to communicate effectively in English; bilingual (Spanish) is a plus but not required
- Is dependable and punctual, self-motivated and willing to pitch in wherever help is needed
- Monday-Thursday Schedule (10-hour shifts)
