Merit Health River Oaks is Hiring a Clinical Informaticist-FT-Day Shift Near FLOWOOD, MS
Facilitate the integration of data, information and knowledge to support patients, nurses, physicians and other providers in their decision-making in all roles and settings. This support is accomplished through the use of information structures, information processes, and information technology.
Serve as the liaison between the medical staff community and the information systems in the deployment and support of information systems used in the delivery of healthcare. Educate clinicians and other support personnel on current clinical systems and upgraded functionality.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. ADN required. BSN preferred. Current state licensure required.
Minimum 5 (five) years of clinical experience in an acute healthcare setting. Experience in leadership, management, quality measures, and education is preferred. Participation in clinical information systems implementation cycle and experience with medical informatics is highly desirable.
