Summary:

This person will be responsible for taking calls from customers in a professional manner. Must be able to provide excellent written and oral communication; Must be able to display cognizant ability to access critical situations; Must have the ability to identify, research and resolve customer questions by phone and email; Must be able to develop work orders to meet customer’s needs or to address software issues; Must have a clear & concise phone presence.

Responsibilities:
Members of the Meridian Accounting Product Support team are responsible for answering calls and working cases about functions within FIS system that are related to accounting, general ledger, payroll, inventory and much more.

• Log all cases and associated details in CRM.
• Responsible for monitoring phone queues for calls
• Creating JIRA tickets for development fixes
• Writing SQL queries for research purposes or fixing data
• Be vigilant and knowledgeable regarding ALL new software releases that are shared with customers. It is critical that we stay on top of our newly released software.
• Must be able to work extended hours, when necessary, on critical payroll issues
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks that are assigned.
• Must be team oriented.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Cooperative Accounting experience, especially in our Meridian FIS system is a plus.
• Cooperative and/or Energy Accounting experience is a plus.
• Accounting experience highly recommended

Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of product support experience. Must have accounting, general ledger, payroll and inventory knowledge.
