The Incoming Product Processor is responsible for coordinating, implementing, and maintaining the company's receiving processes for incoming materials. The Incoming Product Processor also supports the production, facilities, and quality teams by performing a variety of services, such as label generation, raw materials movement and labeling, aliquot breakdown, partner product, and audit support.
Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities:
* Perform accurate physical receipt of raw materials, components and assemblies, and final product as per current material receiving processes.
* Initiate non-conformance reports as required.
* Detecting, correcting, and preventing waste or loss of raw material or partially finished product.
* Follow ISO 13485 quality management system procedures.
* Support department and organizational objectives
* Creation and maintenance of raw materials labelling in collaboration with Quality and other stakeholders from different locations in accordance with relevant standards and procedural requirements.
Maintain labeling or partnered products and expiration date extensions. Ensure all labeling is complete within 48 hours of receipt.
* Store partnered products and raw materials in temperature appropriate locations and transfer in system to update inventory.
* Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement - under supervision.
* Aid warehouse operations as needed, including shipping and receiving activities.
* Inventory control activities including but not limited to: cycle counting in warehouse and laboratory locations, material issuance and transfer between locations including delivery of product within the site
* High School Diploma plus 2 years' experience in warehousing or administration.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
* Ability to read and understand procedures, work instructions, product specifications, inspection standards, and sampling charts.
* Must be able to work in a warehouse environment.
* Ability to work under minimal supervision, and to deploy critical thinking skills to make decisions and solve problems.
* Experience working with manual and electronic Quality Management Documentation Systems, such as MasterControl or similar.
* Proficient user of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and related electronic data management and reporting platforms.
* Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task, and to work quickly and accurately to produce a variety of time-sensitive work products.
* Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting with peers and other departments in a cross functional setting.
Travel
* No travel is expected in this position.
Physical
* Ability to communicate orally in a clear manner.
* Able to view and operate a personal computer monitor or laptop screen, sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time.
* Able to exert up to seventy-five (75) pounds of force occasionally, and/or a minimal amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
* Ability to work inside refrigerators and freezers with the temperature ranging from 2C to -80C.
* Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time, reach, stoop, lift, bend, push and pull carts and utility bins throughout the course of the work shift.
