Position Title: Food Services Coordinator

Location: Gainesville, Fl

Salary: $17.00/hr- Non-Exempt

1. Preparation and service of food with a minimum of waste.

2. Follows weekly meal cycles and meets meal schedules.

3. Prepares food according to regular and therapeutic planned menus using correct sanitation procedures. Assists and directs in cleaning duties and maintenance of the department's safety and sanitation.

4. Assists in serving meals using portion control and complying with therapeutic diet orders.

5. Checks food and supplies for next meal. Assists in checking and storage of groceries and supplies.

6. Follows cleaning schedules, department established policies and procedures and safety/sanitation guidelines.

7. Transport meals and supplies for the meals to other feeding sites.

8. Maintain required records either on paper reports or computer.

9. Monitors inventory control, food preparation, portion control, and serving procedures.

10. Monitors health and sanitation in all areas such as personal cleanliness of employees, food handling, the storage of food, the preparation of food, and general clean up and sanitation.

Who are we looking for?

At least One (1) years of experience supervising a Food Service Department. Completion of a technical or vocational training designed to prepare individuals for food service careers may be substituted for the required experience. Possession of a valid Florida Driver's License.

AND

Certification as a Food Handler if necessary

High school diploma or GED preferred

Must have a current Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record while meeting company insurance requirements.
