Overview:
Prepares, measures and administers radiopharmaceuticals for use in diagnostic and therapeutic studies. Performs and assists with nuclear medicine studies. Is responsible for patient safety protocols. Maintains all federal, state, local and regulatory agency requirements. Participates in CQI activities.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduation from approved school of Radiology Sciences with certification in nuclear medicine.
- Licensure: License/Certification in Nuclear Medicine by NMTCB or ARRT
- Certifications: Current BLS certification. Certified to practice and administer radiopharmaceuticals.
- Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science - Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Preferred Experience: 1yr experience
- Other: Basic computer knowledge. Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Additional languages preferred.
