The Nuclear Medicine Lab Technologist administers therapeutic doses of radiopharmaceuticals under direction of physician. Prepares, measures, and administers radiopharmaceuticals in diagnostic and therapeutic studies, utilizing a variety of equipment and following prescribed procedures. Being a Nuclear Medicine Lab Technologist requires a bachelor's degree. Follows radiation safety techniques when disposing radioactive materials.
