Mercy Veterinary Hospital and Pet Resort is Hiring a Veterinarian Near Leander, TX

Mercy Veterinary Hospital is a brand new, rapidly growing, 15,000sq ft, state of the art small animal Veterinary hospital and luxury boarding facility located in Leander, TX.

Mercy Veterinary Hospital is looking for dedicated full and part time veterinarians eager to grow in a busy, growing hospital environment, practicing the highest standard of care, with digital radiography, full in-house laboratory, state of the art surgical suite, diagnostics and more!

The primary focus of this position will be the preventative care, surgery and dentistry of patients as well as educating our clients about proper ongoing pet care. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong work ethic, strong communication skills and the desire to work well with both animals and people.

Competitive mid-upper 100K salary, plus commission. If full time: 4 to 4-1/2 day work week. NO AFTER HOURS, EMERGENCY CALLS! License fees, CE allowance, health insurance, 401K and PTO offered

Qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Valid license to practice veterinary medicine in the state
- Strong knowledge of animal care, including husbandry, handling, and grooming techniques
- Proficiency in veterinary terminology and diagnostic procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Prior experience in a veterinary practice or clinic is preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year
