Under direct supervision of the Community Center Operations Manager, The Community Life Front Desk Specialist is responsible for providing the highest level of customer service to community members, prospective members, and guests at The Community Center (The Hub). The Community Center will provide inclusive spaces for community members to gather, learn, play, and make connections.
The Community Life Front Desk Specialist assists community members with membership, program registration and connects community members to neighborhood resources and Mercy’s Community Life staff. Additionally, they are responsible for communicating community center policies, and maintaining an inviting and hospitable community space. This role assists with communication and outreach efforts, monitors visitors in and out of the building, and responds to resident inquires, problems and emergencies as appropriate.
