Position Summary:

Assist the registered nurse in direct patient care. Provides ongoing follow-up assessment and intervention under the supervision of the registered nurse. Provides basic patient care as needed. Fosters a collaborative working relationship within and outside of the department. Provides patient and family education as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• 1-2 years of direct patient care as an LVN
• Education level necessary to obtain required licensure and certifications
• CA LVN License, IV certification, CPRBLS. IV Certification required within 90 days

Skills:

• IV Skills and Phlebotomy Skills

Preferred:

• Experience in an Emergency Department or Urgent Care preferred

Training:

• EKG Technician Competency
