Under general supervision, assists physicians in performing invasive angiographic catheterizations for diagnostic Interventional Radiology and Neuro-Endovascular Procedures. Ascetically prepares patients and catheterization sites using aseptic techniques. Assists physicians during complex diagnostic/therapeutic procedures observing strict sterile technique. Sets up, operates, and monitors complex digital medical and fluoroscopic equipment to ensure accurate image acquisition and expected patient outcomes. Uses multiple Computer applications for proper procedure documentation within the EHR. Maintains integrity of IR laboratory supply inventory. Ensures accurate charge capture.
Essential Functions:
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS(must be non-expired/active unless otherwise stated):
Required: Graduate of an approved JRC program. ARRT, R. ODH Licensure. BLS Certificate.
Preferred: ARRT, (VI). ARRT, (CI). Experience in Interventional Radiology or Cardiovascular Intervention
