What Is This Job All About?

• You will be responsible for scheduling patient appointments.
• General clerical duties such as answering multi-line phone system, managing waitlist, and sending notification letters.
• Greeting patients and entering appointments into the EMR system.
• Making sure patients fill out necessary forms.
• Monitor daily quotas, waitlists, call queues, and audits.
• Professionally de-escalate minor patient complaints.
• Supervise and train scheduling staff.

What We Need from You:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of healthcare experience preferred.
• Previous leadership experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to use MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Spanish-speaking highly preferred.
• Excellent communication both on the phone and in person.
• Provide outstanding customer service to meet the needs of patients.
• Experience with EMR operating system such as Athena highly preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and shorthand.
