Mercury Systems is Hiring a Manufacturing Test Engineer Near Peachtree, GA

Job Summary:

The Mercury Systems Peachtree Corners line of business is an extremely technical unit focused on the design, manufacturing, and distribution of RF component level electronics. The Manufacturing Test Engineer will lead a small but highly technical group of technicians using advanced test handling equipment to achieve throughput goals and more importantly, the high standard needed for a successful and growing business unit.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive the test schedule and plan using revenue goals as the benchmark for throughput expectations
  • Collect and use data to coordinate personnel and evaluate performance
  • Lead troubleshooting and problem solving in the test group
  • Manage accurate product inventory on site
  • Maintain production laboratory with ESD standards and calibrated test equipment
  • Periodic department meetings focused on alignment, goals, and broader company-wide messaging

Required Qualifications:

  • Engineering Degree, Electrical preferred
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Excel and general ERP systems
  • Basic understanding of business principles (revenue/margin/costs)
  • Strong organizational/time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and work within deadlines
  • Must have a "can do" attitude with flexibility in adapting to dynamically-changing priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years of manufacturing experience, preferred in electronics industry
  • 5 years of experience directly managing a team of personnel
