We are looking for a Maintenance Electro-mechanical Technician to undertake the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plant machinery and equipment.
A Maintenance Technician is a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance routines on all plant machinery and equipment, such as motors, gearbox, pumps, instrumentation, and electrical systems.
- Able to perform hands-on repairs and installation of machinery parts, such as bearings, pulleys, and mechanism.
- Knowledge of plumbing installations (CPVC and Threated).
- Perform installation and maintenance of electrical systems (conduit, pulling wire, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.)
- Strong knowledge of LOTO will be needed.
- Use of forklift, man-lift, power tools
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
- 2 years of maintenance experience in the manufacturing industry
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Working knowledge of tools, standard appliances, and devices
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
- Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime.
- Desire to learn, asking questions.
