**Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled Butcher ( Carnicero ) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Beef, Chicken, Pork and Poultry, food safety, and a strong background in the Mear Markets *

- Prepare meat products for sale by cutting, trimming, boning, grinding, and packaging

- Ensure all meats are handled and stored properly to maintain freshness and quality

- Operate and maintain cutting tools and equipment such as knives, saws, grinders, and slicers

- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed

- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations

- Collaborate with kitchen staff to fulfill customer orders efficiently

**Qualifications:**

- Proven experience working as a Butcher or similar role in a restaurant or food production setting

- Knowledge of various cuts of meat and proper butchering techniques

- Understanding of food safety practices and regulations

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Strong knife skills and proficiency in using meat processing equipment

- Certification from a culinary institute or relevant training is a plus
