The Mercadien Group is currently recruiting for our summer internship programs in 2025.

Responsibilities

• Understands basic file structure of an engagement
• Asks questions and proactively communicates
• Gathers appropriate evidence and/or information with guidance using; effective client inquiries, test of details, and basic analytical procedures
• Evaluates evidence and/or information gathered appropriately with guidance
• Participates in debriefing and team meetings
• Proactively reviews schedule

Requirements

• Junior/Senior Accounting Major
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Must be able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in written format. A strong command of the English language and grammar is necessary
• Must be able to travel to office in Hamilton, NJ and/or client location as needed
• Must be able to commit and adhere to a regular and consistent schedule during normal day business hours
• Responsible for transportation and housing

Additional Information

• June 9-August 22 (dates subject to change)
• Monday-Wednesday with optional Thursday or Tuesday-Wednesday (9am-5pm) totaling at least 24 hours per week
• Financial Institutions Internship majors may include Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, and related majors
• Internships available on Audit, Compliance, and Financial Institutions teams
