POSITION TITLE: Residential Care Custodian

FSLA CLASS: Non-Exempt

REPORTS TO: Facilities Manager

POSITION SUPERVISED: N/A

POSITION OVERVIEW: The Janitorial/Cleaning position will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining Mental Health Association’s facilities.

ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBLITIES:

1. Cleans offices, entryways, restrooms, kitchen, laundry area and common areas. This will include dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, using cleansing agent and cleaning windows.
2. Restocks all restroom supplies including toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, personal hygiene products.
3. Other duties as assigned.

OTHER POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

1. Operate in compliance with personnel policies and practices. Promote the mission and values of the Mental Health Association.
2. Attending MHA staff meetings and trainings as required.
3. Completing required time sheets, mileage sheets, expense sheets and other agency required paperwork accurately and on time.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Position expected to possess a basic knowledge of cleaning and janitorial skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Standing for extended periods of time

* Bending/Stooping/Reaching/Pulling

* Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
