Hospice IPU Registered Nurse (RN) :
We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Maltz Hospice House. The IPU RN is responsible for ensuring that patient care is coordinated and managed appropriately, providing medical treatment and personal care services to terminally ill persons in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. This position works in 12-hour shifts.
Essential Qualifications::

• Registered nurse with current licensure to practice professional nursing in the state.

• Previous experience in hospice setting, previous inpatient hospice experience preferred.

• Complies with accepted Ohio Department of Health, CMS and ACHC professional standards and practice.

• Supports admission team and evaluates patient eligibility for services

• Has excellent observation, good nursing judgment and communication skills. Understands hospice philosophy and issues of death/dying.

• Understands principles of pain/symptom management.

• Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order.

• Complies and maintains current CPR certification.

• Demonstrates excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills.

Salary: : $36.00-$40.00/hour (based upon experience)
