THE OPPORTUNITY:

Homewatch CareGivers of Beachwood is seeking a Part-Time RN for our Passport Medicaid program. This new position provides flexible hours, a positive workplace and a supportive team. Some of the PRN work can be done from home and you can choose the hours that work best for you. In this role, you will have the opportunity to become more engaged with our agency through supervision and training if you wish to work more hours.

The ideal person for this role has experience with Medicaid clients (however this is not a requirement), is looking for part-time, flexible work, and is excited to make a positive impact!

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

The primary responsibility of this role would be to open cases and conduct quality assurance checks for Passport Medicaid clients. These take, on average about one hour to perform. It will start out with fewer hours in the beginning, with more hours available as we onboard new clients. There are opportunities for more hours, which are detailed below:

• Conduct CPR/First-Aid classes for caregiving staff
• Train caregivers to the needs of their clients
• Assisting in the development of an effective training framework
• Conduct in-service training
• Perform consultations for potential new clients
• Conduct assessments for families with long term care insurance

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Ohio
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
