CURRENTOPENINGS :
*Full-time: 80 hours biweekly: 8:00AM-4:30PM
-Monday- Friday.
-Partof an on-call rotation.
Thepurpose of the Renovations Technicianis to complete all renovations and carpentry tasks for Mennonite HomeCommunities/Woodcrest Villa. May involve planning, purchasing necessary materials,and performing general and skilled carpentry. This position will be performedin accordance with Mennonite Home Communities Core Values, Mission Statement,and regulations.QUALIFICATIONS:
- Highschool diploma or equivalent.
- Additionaltraining and/or technical certifications preferred.
- Atleast five years of experience working as a carpenter or in renovations; notrequired but strongly preferred.
- Musthave a valid PA Driver’s License for the past two (2) consecutive years.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Ensures that quality carpentry and renovations services are provided efficiently and effectively for Woodcrest Villa.
- Completeswork orders, renovations for smaller projects, and PM’s in a timely manner.
- Utilizesa general knowledge of electrical and mechanical operations. Diagnoses problemsand calls in the appropriate person/people to make repairs when necessary.
- Possessesa knowledge of the fire alarm system as well as any other emergency alarmsystem.
- Respondsto calls immediately as required. Is on-call as scheduled.
- Assistswith snow and ice removal.
